Introduction

The Yongnuo YN568EX III is a ETTL flash with optical wireless control. It is very similar to the Canon 580EX II (now discontinued). It’s an upgraded version of the YN568EX II with faster recycle times (2 seconds instead of 3 seconds) and a USB port for future firmware upgrades. The design and user interface are the same as the previous version. Introduced February 2018.

Compatibility

The Yongnuo YN568EX III is compatible with all Canon EOS digital DSLR cameras and can act as a master and slave by communicating using the Canon EX optical wireless system (any Canon speedlite with an EX in the name). It doesn’t have radio wireless .
